Food for Thought supports our mission to provide an all-girls, Catholic education to any young woman who desires it, regardless of financial circumstances. In 2026-27, St. Mary's Academy will provide nearly $2 million in financial aid to 47% of our families.

Food for Thought 2026 will feature an inspiring keynote address, as well as a student testimonial, and opportunities to share in our commitment to fostering the next generation of female leaders.

Our 2026 Keynote Speaker: Liz Bohannon

At 24, with no business degree and no plan, Liz Bohannon packed a bag for Uganda and went on to build a multimillion dollar, purpose-driven fashion brands that has created fair-wage jobs for thousands of women and sent hundreds of female scholars to university.

Named one of the nation's top three transformational leaders and recognized by Forbes as a top speaker, Liz has shared her story everywhere from Shark Tank to Good Morning America.

At Food for Thought, she'll share the mindset behind that leap: how to rethink failure, take the brave next step, and build a community of real purpose and impact. It's a message that speaks directly to who we are: women choosing courage over comfort and building lives in service to one another.
